MY REFLECTION

I am learning to write did you ever poems I found this frustrating because I couldn't think of what I have done before. Next time I will focus on little places I have gone.

Literacy Day monster bookmark.

This is a pitcher of literacy day.We made Monster bookmarks.I am the girl with the blond hair.We had room 27 come over so we could teach them how to do it.I had fun because we could put whatever we wanted on it.

Taster Lunch Annelise

My Reflection 

This is a pitcher of a year 6 taster lunch.Their were 3 classes RM22,RM21 and RM19.We each brought a little bit of food that tells a bit about us,our culture or just a family fav.We had a taster lunch for Peace One Day to show Jeremy Gilley that we took part in this experience!

My Reflection

I found this easy because Trinity was working with me witch helped me with some things that I dident know I knew some Idioms that she dident know and she knew some that I dident know so together we worked good as a team.

I am learning my basic facts. I need to work on getting more questions done in the time given and find easy ways to get the answers fast. I need to work on division. I need to find strategies to help me and to use what I already know. I need to practise at home.

My Reflection

I am getting better but on week 14 I went down because I took a long time on ones that I didn't know so I wasted more time next time I will practice the ones I already know then the one I don't know.

My Reflection Term 3 and term 4 goal

This year I have dropped a bit and then gone all over the the place for term 4 I want to get at lest 65% or more. I need to practice my 12,11,9,8,7 and 4x tables right now I am working on my twelves.

I was learning to write a persuasive poster.I found this hard because I couldn't think of any other things to write about.Next time I should use the success criteria better to help me.  I worked  I worked with a buddy called Jasmine.

This is my Mathletics  evidence. I found this hard because  I did not know if it wanted me to the bottem top or both but I did both and it was right.

My Reflection

I learnt to use different painting strategies to do landscape art. The paint skills I used here were: sponge for the sky, drag for the sea, stipple for the sand and card print for the grasses. I found it easy to do stipple because I had lots more practice. I need to work on my drag skills so I can make it look more like the sea.

Dividing a Cake Fraction Problem

My Reflection
I was learning to solve problems with fractions. First of all I used trial and improvement and made random lines to see how close I could get to the solution. I counted up all the numbers around the cake and this made 45. I divided it by 3 and this gave me 15.
Then I tried different numbers to add up to 15. Next time I need to use more clues to help me find fast ways to get my answer.

This is my 3D name art and business card. This was our chance to reflect on what we are good at and have to offer. I found my business card easy because I had lots   of good ideas and took my time. I found my name tricky because the pink keep fading out.I think I should work on my business card with the pencil.        
                         

Number Talks- adding 2 numbers

My Reflection

I was learning about the different ways you can add 2 numbers. I find it easy to round and compensate but I need to work on the algorithm method. My teacher can help me with this.
